For some reason i cant find my original post. There i was asking why there is even 1-minute delay getting the stream from a web server, with some devices. The workout was to change the quality of the stream. Its weird, but 64k quality is loading faster from 32k , at least on my devices. You can try it if you have similar problems. All these with devices having Android 2.3+. Totally unthinkable, Android 2.1 was doing fine with any type of quality: all streams are playable after only 2-3 secs.
I remind you that getting the stream with MediaPlayerStream from a known server is easy:
VLC on the server computer,
Open->Network Stream,
HTTP method,
Re-encode to -> Audio MP3 -> RAW -> settings for the stream (32k, 64k, channels, frequency etc).
