I thought that the "Next" button in the desktop IDE designer had the purpose of scanning one at a time through all controls on the form.
In which case each control should be made visible when selected, whatever its visibility happens to be at run time. This is the only way in which it can conveniently be adjusted.
But this does not happen!
(If run-time visibility of all controls needs to be restored for WYSIWYG this could be done when the form itself becomes selected.)
