Developing in B4A using a Macbook

Hi there,

I've a Macbook computer and to develop in B4A I need to use a virtual machine running windows (which isn't a problem). Now, when I need to run and debug my application the only way I have is using B4A Bridge on an Android device and it works ok.

My mail problem is when I'm traveling and I don't have a local wifi network around me, so, I can't run the B4A bridge.

I can't also run the Android emulator inside my virtual machine (virtualbox).

Anyone faced this kind of issues and have a work "model" for this?

Thanks in advance.

I also use a Mac with a Windows VM, and can debug with a USB cable when there is no wifi.
The only thing needed (at least with Virtualbox), is to attach the USB device to the VM when it is plugged (top Mac Virtualbox menu>devices>usb ...), and select the device that will appear by its name or simply "Android", depending on the brand.

Hi there,

It works great. Had some trouble making windows accept my samsung test phone, but it's now working great.

Thanks again.
