Differnet between emulator and device

Hello!!!

I write my basic4ppc-applications on an Asus Eee-PC, first generation with 800 MHz and it works fine. But under basic4android, the emulator doesn't starts or works with 4 or 5 seconds delay. Now I want to buy an android-pad and want to know, if it is possible to develope with the Asus Eee or is it also to slow?

The emu from the android sdk runs slow, and on a Asus Eee-PC it will run very slow, this isn't b4a's fault it is the emu, which alot of people complain about.

If you already have an android device then you could develop fine, I've seen the speed of the Eee-pc running winxp and linux both and the emu will bog it down to a crawl.
