DNS problems - Did you encounter such problems here?

There is a "mystery" dns problem with our new server that appears to occur randomly. Did you encounter such problems recently?
When such a problem occurs the forum responds with a 404 error and the main page shows the following message:

"We are currently facing a dns problem.
You can access the site through Android programming with Gui designer - Basic4android

We apologize for the inconvenience."

yes, this has happened to me on various occasions at different locations:

1) at home where I am using Google as DNS-server (8.8.4.4)
2) and at work (with an Italian provider and its DNS-server)

The message is the one you indicate in your post but I believe somewhere Yahoo is mentioned as well.

That is correct.

This morning we moved our name servers to a new company. Hopefully these problems will not recur.

Still getting the 404 error on your main site Android programming with Gui designer - Basic4android

I have the forum bookmarked and ran across the error up until last night. I use google dns

What are you getting?

Ping doesn't work on an Http://... URL.

"ping www.b4x.com" gives me 137mS roundtrip time as (unsurprisingly) does "ping basic4ppc.com"

You didn't encounter any problems since yesterday morning, right?

I've not seen any problems at all since I last emailed you about it on Saturday morning.
