Sometimes it works and often fails - this is on Windows 8 but i had similar problems on Windows 7. (Though it did tend to work more frequently on Windows 7). Look at the android SDK Device Monitor: http://developer.android.com/tools/help/monitor.html It even has colored output! Martin.

EddyW Member Licensed User Longtime User Apr 4, 2014 #3 thanks for the tip Martin. Monitor looks nice but not what i am looking for. A dockable Logs would be better because then you see the logcolor you self define.
