A must see as it describes how the society is acting since some time. Two scientists discover a comet on it's path to earth resulting killing a life. Noone is interested in their story of course. Due to re-elections and some scandals the government finally picks up the topic to distract. First they want to destroy the comet but they discover that it is carrying valuable metals, minerals, etc. and they decide to break it into pieces still causing huge damage to some countries but it's ok for all. Of course this did not work.

The society now splits up to:

- the comet is a threat and will kill us all
- the comet doesn't exist
- it's not dangerous
- it brings jobs to us (due to harvesting the contents)

After some time (the comet got closer and is clearly visible in the night sky now) there are new parties:

- Don't look up! (to ignore the comet)
- Look up! (to see it)

For me the best film since a long time as it describes how people behave now. Even when it's 100% clear, a huge group of people don't believe it (like flat earthers or Covid deniers).
