Dotnet on Win64

I just got a new box with Vista 64 on it, when I try to install dotnet 2.0 on it I get a message that it is not supported on 64 bit OS.

Seems like I'm doing something wrong. When I run the installer for .net x64 it said it is already installed on my computer but whe I try to compile I get this error message "Cannot locate .net compact framework 2.0 files"

Looks like a problem I had! See thread with dotnet 2.0 error. Maybe answer is comparable: install the compact 2.0 SP2 version. In my case use not the exe file but the msi file. Don't know if the same goes for 64 bit.
