Cool looking board. Why did you buy this as opposed to a RasPi 2?

One really neat difference between this board and the RasPi series is that this board supports OpenCL. The RasPis, inexplicably, don't. This opens up some really powerful GPGPU applications.

Interesting. Have you looked at Nvidia's development boards? Their TK1 has a lot of "umph".

Be sure to let us know if you do anything interesting with the Dragonboard's OpenCL capabilities. Lots of power, there.

Hi All i have received my dragonboard, the only problem i have found so far is the HDMI output using the bundled android dist is 1080p, i had purchased a small 5" hdmi screen where the resolution is 800x480 so this doesn't work but it looks nice on the TV. So i put the Lubuntu dist onto it and the screen works great and it boots into LXDE in 13 seconds from power being added, so not too shabby.

I'm off to China for a week or so with work so will have to have a better look when i get back home.
