XverhelstX Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 21, 2011 #3 Seems nice. I think it's an 'adapt' of the 'Arkanoid' example here. I suggest adding a shoot button at the left or right bottom corner as the character is way too small to click on. I would also add a left - right button at the bottom to move the character this way instead of sliding. Also make the invaders move a little faster. XverhelstX

L lorebf Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 21, 2011 #4 I made this completely from scratch. Didn't even look at the arkanoid example The only example i looked at was the example where you touch a bouncing ball. The only lib is "core v 1.45" about the speed: did you shoot all the aliens? S ssg Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 21, 2011 #6 Hi lorebf, I agree with XverhelstX, the game could use some input improvements as it is indeed not so easy to touch the "hero". Nice classic feel though, and hope you will grow the game more! Cheers!

On phones with middlebutton (like the ball on htc hero) it's possible to press that to shoot... About the speed... the last droids are really fast It's working just like the old arcadegame

S ssg Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 21, 2011 #8 Hi lorebf, moving the ship is no issue really... it is easy and quite a fun way of moving the ship the way it is... just that firing is a little tough on devices without a middlebutton cheers!

N nacnud Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 27, 2011 #10 I just gave it a bash on my Samsung Galaxy S and I didn't have to even kill all of the aliens before a new wave appeared. I think the original game only allowed for one bullet at a time too, which made things harder? I could be wrong? Are you showing the source code off? Cheers, Dunk

That is a bug that's fixed now.. For some reason the bullets that went outside the screen on bigger screens was hitting dead aliens Same on HTC Desire :signOops: No sourcecode right now.... Planning to release the game on the market as well... One free with ads, and one adfree... (maybe 50cents or less)

I use canvas.... I will check how imageviews work... are imageview faster than canvas? Click to expand... They're easier for me . I don't know if they're faster.

Ok... at slideme i think the lowest is 30cents... But in that case, i will have to go with 1$ (the pricerange in market is USD: $0.99 - $200.. found it ) in slideme it's 0.30$-999$... I will test with imageview... on my hero canvas is a bit slow...

Can you explain me what is this? Thanks
