Android Question editText loses data after screen rotation

Hi,

changing the phone's orientation (from horizontal to vertical or vice versa ) causes the edittext to lose it's data (only on some phones).

any ideas how i can correct this?

That's normal, rotating the device will relaunch Activity_Create, to save the values you need to use something like StateManager

thank you for your quick response!
i implemented the statemanager but it doesn't seem to work for labels that had their values changed in code or listview.
any suggestions.
