Enumerating Installed Apps

Hello

I would like to enumerate the installed app and add selected ones as a icon within a tab. (Eg: Add all apps having name start with A in Tab 1, those having B in Tab 2 and so on). I would also like to use the apps default icon. Then spawn the app when user clicks on it?

Any idea where should I start looking?

Look into the PackageManager. It has everything you need.
