I think it's just a matter of compatibility. I am using different printer with EPSON compatibility without problems. I didn't try this SDK though.

but how printing greek characters?

Only latin characters printing is OK .

Two ways: i) Check if printer accepts the iso-8859-7 encoding,
ii) prepair a table to convert to whichever encoding allows greek characters.
