Android Question Error trying to load background location tracking

I've been noticing occasional errors since updating sdk manager in B4A. I just tried updating sdk manager right now and get this error:

Warning: File C:\Users\steve\.android\repositories.cfg could not be loaded.

I also have been trying to load background location tracking and get this error box.

Is this something I need to fix or should I just ignore it? I seem to still be able to design and run apps.

It looks like you put the SDK in Program Files. You should not install anything yourself in Program Files as this is a location protected from interference by Windows. Reinstall it in a convenient folder off C:\.

I'm almost 100% certain I installed it using what the default setting was. I never change install paths. Is this something I need to fix or just ignore it? My concern is that it will result in issues as my apps become more complex. I'm still pretty new to B4A.

I don't know how you installed it - I thought it was a manual install. I would check the instructions here https://www.b4x.com/b4a.html and start over with the recommended install.
