B4R Question ESP8266 16MB (128 M Bits)

Will the B4R IDE allow me to program one of this new chips that has more memory?

I am doing this IR project and will be using Pronto Codes that take a lot of bytes and will need more memory.

But before I get too deep I figured I would see if the B4R IDE will support this chip

Don't use that old ESP8266 crap. Use a e.g. "ESP32 Wrover" which has an additional SPI Pseudo static RAM. There are boards in the market which are
equipped with 16 MB.
