Android Question event EditText on leave

is there any event triggered on EditText leave ?

or should I check the values for examples isstring , isnumeric on activity_resume ?

Sub EditText1_FocusChanged (HasFocus As Boolean)
   If HasFocus = False Then
     Log("EditText1 has lost focus")
     'test edittext1 contents
