Although some people think there is nothing new in Android 4.3 there is actually some exciting news:
- access to notifications for 3th party apps.;
- support for Bluetooth Smart (Low Energy).
These two are imo very exciting. Bluetooth BLE because that means we can have solutions that talk to all kinds of equipment, and notifications because it seems you will be able to control notifications from other apps.
Google is working on this because of Smart watches etc. I'm personally very interested in knowing when notifications arrive because I want to do all kinds of stuff if for example a Whatsapp message arrives.
So, has anyone plans to write libraries for this new stuff? It seems Google will start rolling 4.3 out the next couple of weeks.
