Android Question Exoplayer library live stream recording in real time new feature plea

Dear specialists,
I Am aware, that this feature would had to be coded in The context of author rights. So only non protected live media content could be recorded in real time.
Does somebody of us think, that it would be possible to ask engineers from Google, who are developing Exoplayer that their player could contain function, which could allow user of Exoplayer to write live stream to The file while this stream is being plaied by using Exoplayer?
Ofcourse, only if non protected media source is being plaied.
Sure, I know, that I could use some Internet related function to download live stream, but in some cases, it is non easy to achieve and it would require big amount of bandvidt.
It would be ideal, if Exoplayer could create some buffer based variable, which could contain binary data of plaied stream.

Or do you think, that is it not very realistic anticipation from Me, that GOogle would introduce this new feature for Exoplayer?

I Am aware, that if Exoplayer do not support it, it is impossible to add this feature as A B4A Exoplayer library. Somebody would had to analyse complex Exoplayer source code, add this function and this would not be very easy, because Exoplayer is complex code and may be, that The powerful Google corporation would not be very happy because of this new feature.

But may be, that my plea would inspire somebody advanced of us for other solution.
