Android Question file write to UMS but file size zero???

I'm trying to save an Excel file to a USB Mass storage

But if I check the file, it's a randomly, size of zero.

And I can't open that file.

The file size seems to be zero when removing UMS.

Do I need to unmount and remove UMS? on Android
