But I've attempted to go through the posted solution (on the thread linked in there) but am still getting this error:

I've updated everything to the latest version, but still can't seem to get my code to work (which was working before the Firebase update).

Is there anything I can do to pinpoint the problem?

2. What is the version of firebaseanalytics in the IDE?
3. How does your manifest looks like? You can XXX sensible infos...
4. What is the path you configured tin the B4A SDKManager which point to the bat-file?
5. What is the path you use in the IDE for the Android.jar

Check the Manifest against the tutorial. Looks for me like the manifest is not looking correctly.
