Java Question Force Activity to recreate?

I´m doing a wrap for a Barcodescanning SDK from Scandit.

I´m having the issue that Camera preview does work only if i force a Oriantationchange and another to get back to Portrait. NOW the Preview works.
Looks like i need to wait or force the activity to recreate.

Is there a way to force a recreation of mainactivity?

Alternatively i plan to start another activity and then directly go back as a workaround

Oh dammit. I tried it over remotedesktop running the app on a emulator.
It seems to work
