I know when you buy a phone/tablet etc the Google Play app is pre-installed but I am looking at getting a touch screen designed and manufactured and was told that you need to buy a Google licence to have the Google Play app pre-installed on a device. I can't seem to find anywhere where you need to buy a licence etc. Anyone know where I should be looking to find this information as I can't seem to find anything?

This came into light recently when Apple produced in court (as part of their ongoing litigation with Samsung) a MADA that Samsung signed with Google. http://www.scribd.com/doc/221640909/Samsung-MADA-With-Google HTC's MADA is also available online http://www.benedelman.org/docs/htc-mada.pdf
