That is a very great launching announcement. I can only say “Wow”. I can’t imagine could Apple beat it in their coming WWDC or Google launch of Fuchsia OS.

I am anticipating HarmonyOS as the desktop OS and support software like B4A, B4J, etc.

HarmonyOS can be extended to support more types of devices in the future so I guess it would also available in their laptops too.

I very much doubt. It's Android through and through, although they try to obscure it with a lot of PR bullshit. By the way Harmony OS for smartwatches is an entirely different OS sharing only the confusion over names. They are sowing deliberate confusion in their marketing messages.
