Hello all,

Today I tried to change the permissions of a video file.. it disappeared!
Anyone has idea how to retrieve it? Thanks in advance.
I set all permissions to "Deny".. see attached image.

ths first screenshot looks like the permission view for the selected user or group.
the second screenshot you will see after clicked the edit button.
above should be a box with groups or users, u can select/add there and gave them permissions.
at advanced button its possible to make the current user the owner, i used this sometimes if windows not allow me changes.
if you check all with deny it means no permissons.

Just a guess.
Highlight the folder name that contains the file and right click and choose "Properties_>Security->Advanced->Change Ownership" and take ownership of the folder and its contents. The Ctrl-A in the folder and choose "Properties_>Security->Edit" and change the permissions

yes, overwriting the permission with inheritance should make it visible.
