First consideration, it seems to me that the classic app used to make phone calls can be set, and therefore is not part of the native operating system but is a separate program
Second consideration, the various audio recorders of telephone calls, for some strange reason are unable to correctly record the incoming audio of a telephone call

Question: how to create a 'phone' app so that it is possible to obtain an effective audio recording of telephone calls?

For whatever it's worth, one of the phones I have is a Unihertz Jelly 2. The phone app in it has the built-in feature of recording phone calls, where both sides are heard. The other person has no idea they are being recorded, no audio clue is given. It's even possible to configure it so that it always records calls, and stores them as timestamped files.

Could you try to 'extract' your app and let's see if it works on our phones too?

Sure, I'll give that a shot the next time I find that phone. Don't hold your breath. 🙂 (But I can't imagine it will work.)

"..Don't hold your breath.." is a phrase that has no equivalent in Italian
I imagine it means, "..this thing I'll do when I can.." is correct?
