Android Question How can i prevent another app from running?

Hallo,

i'm facing the problem that i want to prevent some other app's from starting/running.

Using the OperatingSystem-library for finding unwanted processes/services is not working because killing such a process is not working.

An alternative solution might be using the standard app manager for hiding the unwanted apps.

However, in order to prevent a user for switching the unwanted app back to on, i need a mechanism to prevent that. An nice way of doing that would be to, after i've set up the Phone, prevent the standard app manager from running again.

Is there a way of doing this or are there alternatives?
