How do add a close event dynamicly?

Hi, I used AddEvent() function for Add a close event on a Form and apparently it doens't work but return no error messages...
Is there another way for add a close event without created a _Close sub function?

As far as I'm aware you do not need to add the event as a Form will already have a close event as standard.
Just create a sub with the name of your Form followed by _Close.

Sorry I didn't write corectly, I don't know the forms names, It's created dynamicly so I can't type "Form name"_Close so I've to add the event on another sub name but it doesn't work...
I saw that it was not available in version 6.80 and it will be fixed but apparently it doesn't... Is there an other way for do it?

You have to type Form's name in AddEvent arguments anyways.

AddEvent("Form Name",close...etc)

Why not, surely you have given it a name in AddForm?

What "it" was not available

, you should give some more details and a bit of code so we can see what you are doing. However this works fine for me, what are you doing different?

I saw that AddEvent() doesn't works for Close event...
I use a lot the AddEvent function but this event is not know...
It return no error but it doesn't run the function name...

There is nothing wrong with that code but there must be other support code in your App_Start that you haven't posted as what you have posted will not run at all. If you have no other Forms to show then you must show the one you have added otherwise the applications main thread message loop nevers starts and the application terminates immediately. If that really is your entire App_Start the minimum you need to add after creating the Form is

Form("page" & num).Show

Unless you post a link to tell me what the problem was I don't know what you mean so I have no idea!

I've 5 modules and more 1700 lines so I prefere ti don't post each lines

I show the Form of course but the sub function doesn't run when this form is closed...
I added a lot of event on this form and it works perfectly but not with Close...
With *FormName*_Close it works but I can't write this cause I can't know the form name...
Otherwise I can create an other Lib but I don't know what set in the Class Name, I've too class name in my project so sometime it return "Key already added" ot other so I prefere use an internal function from B4P but if really there's no way I'll create a new lib with close EventHandler...

Without seeing real code I can't help. Nor without a link can I comment on the other problem. However as this small app works there must be something else wrong with your code.

Has I see it, across the times, The Close event has a very unique way of working....
SO if I am not mistaken, and I often am, If you don't do CancelClose, the event will just close the form without performing anything else...

This is just my two cents

Yes, then add DoEvents, and finalize it with a propper AppClose...
You may need to set a flag just to check if you have already canceled close once, or you will end up in a loop never closing the form.

I've also tested with by example "DirCreate("teste")" but nothing... Cause maybe the MsgBox() have not enought time for show but no...

You didn't mention that it was only when compiled that it didn't work

Inspecting the code in CEnhancedForm.cs I notice that it doesn't support the runtime addition of the Close event. I don't know if this was the previous problem you referred to as you haven't told me about the problem you found.

I suspect that the omission is deliberate as I've looked at what is needed to hack it into CEnhancedForm and gave up as it looks like it might need a compiler change as well.

You could try this modified CenhancedForm.cs - save your old one first. You get an additional Close event when the main form finally closes as the epp terminates that might cause you problems. I think this is caused by the original B4p handling of the main form termination. I haven't tried to stop it. If it is a problem, as long as you know which is the main form, you could count the close events for that form and ignore any after the first.
