Android Question How to compress a video?

I want to compress a video and upload it to my server,But i dont know how to compress the video?

The video is made by my camera.

This is possible?, In iPhone with B4i the video is automatic compressed when it is selected, but not in Andorid.

Once the file is selected with "chooser" is posible to compress this video file before to send?

Android does not support such a feature build in.
And i do not know any library which does it in good time.

You may search for ffmpeg lib (i think there is one). ffmpeg probably can compress a video
