How to create settings screens

Hello,

I was wondering: what is the best way to add settings screens in your application ? I read there is a PreferenceActivity ?

Are there examples available ?

It seems Googlewants us to no longer use the Menu button ?

I don't think there is one "best way"; it depends on your app. The second screen shot of one of my apps in this post shows one way to display a lot of setting options. It's just a panel with a bunch of views on it. The Okay button hides the options panel when done.

The first screen shot on that page shows the "Options" button at the top right.
