HTTP versus Cyrillic characters

Hello everybody.

I scramble to solve a problem,that is:

response.Value=request.GetResponse
textbox1.Text=response.GetString

Works well with latin letters,when it comes to Cyrillic characters all i have is a number of squares
   

                
Can anybody help my out?

It looks like a codepage problem. What are you connecting to and what encoding is it using?

Hello Andrew.
You were right,it was a codepage problem.I tried connecting to other web pages and Cyrillics are read well.
