I messed up my MacBookPro

Today I take out my dusty MacBookPro 2015, cleaned it up and boot it.
I saw there is an update to MacOS Tahoe.
The current version is MacOS Ventura.

I was too excited and download the update.
After reboot, the MacBook become unusable!
After login in, mouse and keyboard are not responding.
Graphics and Wifi Adapter are not working.

I found a YouTube to boot to a nightly build EFI boot using OpenCore Legacy Patcher.
Now I remembered that I installed the previous version using this app.
With the guide I could barely login to the desktop and able to access the USB drive.

After trial and error I think I need to reinstall the OS (slightly older than Tahoe - which is Sequoia)
I found some Github repos and the following repo is quite interesting.
https://github.com/LongQT-sea/macos-iso-builder

I am now downloading the dmg file. Hopefully I can recover the OS.

Hi @aeric ,

I recommend using Time Machine; that way, you won't have those kinds of problems again.
This time machine has saved me from such problems many times.
