(Not to mention the guy in the video might be one of the most irritating humans alive.) The second solution is awesome. To each their own, I suppose.

Click to expand... i agree but when the "guys" are coming you are not taking a bucket and fill it with ice and salt, don't you?! the ice/salt method is known, especially for making ice cream but again the cooler is a much "cooler" way to cool drinks. i guess it can also be takken outside like when camping and you can cool your drinks. i agree it is not cheap but a really cool idea btw if someone wants to try here are some videos: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=making+ice+cream+salt+ice i tried and a kind of milkshake came out but it was tasty ?
