If you close your dev account...

Are your apps removed? If not, do you still get paid for any sales? Same for Apple and Google?

What happens if the account just isn`t renewed?

I didn't close my Google Play dev account, they banned me. All my apps deleted but they fair enough when paid all my remain money. I don't know how about Apple.

Google only has the one time enrollement fee, so there is no account renewal.

If you wont renew your ios dev account all your apps will no more be available at the app store.

Google dev account does not need to be renewed.
