Imageview Question (possibly Dumb)

Hi folks,

Hoping someone can help me out here. I have an Imageview control and I wish to remove the current image from it.

I know that I can use a placeholder image, but was wondering of it is possible, when you have set an image into the control, to remove it and return to the default white background container ?

any help greatly appreciated
