In the Designer you have to use generate members to declare your objects (not their events) for use in the rest of your code by checking the parent checkbox. I realize you could have a label and never need to reference it with code, but checking a parent box inherently means you want all the child events. Therefore there should be a separate set of checkboxes called "Object Declarations" or some other name. Moreover if you use an event with a text box, then that textbox's declaration should be checked by default.
Another forum member RandomCoder and I agreed in a Q&A thread that the current use of checkboxes as anything other than meaning declare all the object's events is a bug.
