How can I tell if my b4j app is in debug mode?

The DEBUG compilation symbol will be active.

You can do something like:

B4X:

#IF DEBUG
 Public Const debugMode As Boolean = True
#End If
#If RELEASE
 Public Const debugMode As Boolean = False
#End If
