Android Question Including a license key in a new app

I am trying to upload a new app (not free) and see that I have to get a new license key. I got it. Now, I am supposed to include it in my binary? What binary? The APK file? If so how, and where?
Any information about this as well as where to set the cost of the app will be much appreciated.
All this has changed since I published my last (non-free) app.

Or perhaps are you speaking about the app key provided by Google Play itself ? If so, please search for the Licensing library.
