IndexOutOfBoundsException

Hi guys, hello guys, I'm faced with another problem, if a spinner does not load any item to it, when I go to read the selected item, if I empty it returns this message (java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Invalid index 0, size is 0), how can I prevent it ?

Check the spinner size to see if it has any items.
