InputDialog with enabled keyboard on startup?

There are some threads here discussing this with the Dialog Library. I can't seem to find them, but I remember it being difficult since once the modal dialog is open you have no more control of it. I think there was some trick someone did with doevents or something though that was added to the Dialog Library...I'd imagine if it was added there should be an option in the library for it though. Still trying to find the thread where they used the trick to see...

Edit: Found it, but it was the opposite side of closing it when left open: http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional...dates/10270-basic4android-v1-60-released.html

Looks like it won't work for you though and the not having context still applies for opening it.

I searched and didn't find an appropriate method to do it. Because I didn't, I asked if I am missing the obvious.

It is not big pain but could be a kind of frustration for my users because the dialog expect from them to input a number at all cost in order to go further.
