I am working on this (LoRa) for a customer, but only p2p.
Would be nice if these IOT WANs were already available
last week we had some people here to talk about our voice invoices & reporting.
this lora thing got mentioned by my colleague and they immediatly jumped onto it that they will provide the same thing but 'better' since this free wan ain't good enough for businesses.

i have some questions regarding these wans, which I suppose will only be answered with time...
They make use of ISM free (although regulated) bands. So in principle everybody could provide services by means of gateways/repeaters. I fear that, when the bussiness made from it grows enough, it will get regulated so that only big players can take profit of it
