Search magnifier does not work for me

If I type text into the search box (top right corner of web page) and click the magnifier it does nothing. If I press Enter it works.

Is this just my browser (Chrome) or is it a general problem?

You are right, so it's not broken. But I have never seen that message before. I just clicked and gave up when it didn't do anything.

Seems to me that an icon which tells you to take an action is not really very useful. Normally a search box has a button you click to execute the search. But I guess we're stuck with it, if that's what vBulletin has provided.
