Android Question Layout file damaged. Can be restored?

While working on a big layout, suddenly an error appears 'Netframework has encountered a problem......'
Not only I couldn't save the layout. The previous version was set at 0 bytes, so the file was lost.
Can it be recovered from the device? My backup was 2 days old and many changes was made.

I had exactly the same problem a few days ago. I lost hours of work. Unfortunately, there's nothing to do if you don't have an APK of your previous work. If you have, just extract the BAL file from the APK (with your favorite ZIP unpacker).

I made a release version yesterday, And there is a .bal file in the device with the same name. But the designer can't open it.

you can try to convert the bal to json with https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...s-files-to-json-and-vice-versa.41623/#content
and then to find the problem in the json before you reconvert the json back to bal
