Ligatures in your programming font

I never used a font that has ligatures for programming before (mergin characters together to a more logic symbol, see image >= and <=), but I'm using the new JetBrains Mono font (specially created for programmers) now for over a week or so and I kind of like it. I admit it felt kind of strange in the beginning, but now it really feels kind of natural.

Other than that, I find the new font pleasing and easy on the eyes so I've changed all my programming IDEs to this font.

Anyone else a fan of such fonts?

Hmm, looks like the standard dark theme from B4X. ?

I'm not talking about the colors, but the font, especially the >= and <= ligatures (they are merged to one symbol)

This is kind of nice, thanks for sharing. i may test it on my Visual Studio Code enviorment. Comfort for coding is way to important.

Hmm, I've just downloaded the font am I'm trying out for myself, I find that font pleasing to the eye. I've been playing around with with font size, I went back and forth between 11.50 and 11.75, I settled with 11.50. I'll stick with it for now just to see if I can actually get used to it ?

Actually, I only recently discovered one can use == in B4J: it converts the same to java as a single =

They both transpile to the same java code:

Log(a = b)
Log(a == b)
