Bug? Log not producing output anymore after a few seconds

I'm running into issues while debugging on my phone. Once my app starts, log output appears during a second or 2, and afterwards the logs show this:

When I click on "connect" again, the log starts appearing for a few seconds until the connection is lost once more.

Has anyone seen such behavior before?

Does it happen is you change the package name (as a test)?

You can switch to USB debug mode.

USB debug works without any issue.
