I got a free card reader from Square. I was able to make an audio recording of the card data with it. From what I can see from the recording it shouldn't be too hard to decode the data from it.

hi
can you please send me the recorded audio file ?
how did you generate it ?
the reader is less problematic as i can buy it for about 1 USD
the issue is the software to support it
so i will appreciate if you could also send the code you used
you can use my private email [email protected]
thanks

The Square card reader plugs into the headphone jack. You can make an audio recording of the data with any audio recorder. I used android recorder. I'm looking at the audio file on my PC with Audacity. The reader was free from Square and I'm just playing around with it now. I haven't wrote the code to decode it yet.
