Just a comment if you're converting B4A layout files (.bal) to B4i layouts (.bil):
The Bal2Bil.jar download found in the Bal2Bil Tutorial has been updated at least a couple of times, in a few threads, but it seems that the download found in the Tutorial itself hasn't been updated. The latest version I've found is here: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/blinking-bridge.76812/#post-486925. Make sure you use it, or you'll probably run into some weird problems!
The problem I ran into using the old version is well documented here: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/blinking-bridge.76812/. It happened after converting a B4A layout that evidently had a new B4A data type not supported in the old version of Bal2Bil.jar.
