Maybe Dumbest Question Ever (Or Not)...Auto-start

Is there an "auto-start" (the Windows equivalent of an app in the Startup folder) for non-phone Android devices? For example, when I turn my tablet on, after Android boots up, is there a method for starting an Android app that would normally be started by clicking its icon?

That's done by creating a service an setting it as "start at boot", look at THIS sample to see how is done.

Thank you for your concern, actually we were lucky in this area of NJ, the damage was minimal compared to what happened just 2 towns over.
