Why do you think Microsoft has anything to do with this?

Looks interesting but nothing you couldn't do with some coding. I like the idea but will wait until it is out of Beta. Requires a Facebook log in! Yuck!

Because it is a Microsoft product. Check the play store.
Only thing putting me off is the Facebook login.

Yeah, I did some more searching (didn't watch the video). It is Microsoft but that is the first time I've seen an MS site without their name plastered all over it and I couldn't log in with either my Live or MSDN credentials. I guess they are trying to appeal to the anti-MS crowd.

They are using Android as a test platform. Once they get enough developer attention and resources, they will convert all that code to WP.

Well, if you look at the recent sales numbers of Android, Ios and WP... There is a simple explanation why Android is used here, even by MS.
