I have reviewed Microsoft Sync Framework 4 which allows you to sync data from an offline database on any device to a database on a server. I have used this on Phone 7 and it works perfectly but it's supposed to work for Android and Iphone.

see www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=12012 for more info.

Has anyone any ideas if this is possible using Basic4Android and could you point me in the right direction of how to do it.

Erel previously pointed me a link where I could access data on a server via PHP but that is not what I want to do.

Thanks in advance

Hello. We also looked at the Sync Framework and concluded that on it's own it was a nightmare to use. So in answer to the problem we created a new solution called dbAppSync (www.dbappsync.com). dbAppSync delivers database synchronization functionality for SQLite to MS SQL Server without having to learn anything about the Sync Framework or having to write any code.

dbAppSync is a complete solution and is designed to handle the unique issues common to mobile devices such as memory limitations. We have a B4A library and the functionality can be easily added to any app.

Please contact me if you need more information.
