Android Question MIDI Sequencer

Hi all,
i am reading a lot in the Internet about MIDI Sequencers but don't come to a solution how to write one from scratch. It's simply too complex for me

And a lot of other sites..... No chance. Too complex for me!
I am wanting to play a MIDI file and read if a determinate instrument is making sound (Reading this in a 1ms interval with a timer or so).
Hope anyone have a soution, a tip or a library they can share here.

I have been creating a framework for midi in B4a for a while now, It's nearly ready for release, hopefully early in the new year. The library is just about complete, but it's pretty big and is taking a lot of testing. Then I have to document it somehow. So watch this space.
